Dr LEE Lai-wan Maria

Dr Lai-wan Maria Lee is the Vice President of the Pacific Early Childhood Education Research Association (Hong Kong). She majored in Social Work, and her doctoral studies are in early childhood education. Her research interests include young children’s learning and literature, contemporary cultures, child development, and teacher education. Maria is the Chairman of the Board of External Advisor for Yew Chung College of Early Childhood Education. She had also served as a member in the Quality Education Fund Steering Committee, Panel member of the Hong Kong Child Fatality Review Panel, and the Curriculum Development Committee on Early Childhood Education in Hong Kong. She was the Supervisor of Maryknoll Convent School (Secondary), and Chair of the Incorporated Management Committee, a Council member of the Maryknoll Convent School Foundation, and an Executive committee member of the Maryknoll Convent School Educational Trust.
